Montana Wind Resources, LLC is a wind development company based in Billings, Montana. MWR works with ranchers, farmers, businesses and institutions throughout the West to facilitate the use of wind as a renewable energy resource.

Community Wind

Montana Wind Resources offers a development model where the financial benefits are shared by landowners, local economies and regional partners. Some of the benefits of Community Wind are greater financial return to landowners, cooperative permitting process, and an opportunity for local and regional ownership in the project.

Judith Highlands Energy is a 500+ MW Community wind farm under development in Central Montana. Initial wind data collection along with environmental and transmission analysis has been completed in collaboration with our partner, National Wind, LLC.

Greycliff Wind Energy is an 80 MW wind farm being developed by Montana Wind Resources and our partners, National Wind. This Community project has site control in place as well as initial environmental, transmission, and wind analysis studies completed.
